Stadtcafe Worms in Worms

We are always "afraid" of the service. Depending on her mood, the lady (very thin, a little older and extremely make-up) is sometimes in a good mood, sometimes in a very bad mood. Since we were often approached for no reason, in an unspeakably nasty tone, we decided not to come here any more. And we're not the only ones. Whenever the topic of city cafes comes up, friends talk about the same problem. It's a shame because the breakfast was, with a few exceptions, very tasty.

The ambience is appealing and the staff friendly, but the fruit tea ordered was green tea and the waffle with cherries was a few minutes older than freshly made. Really a shame, but a different cafe on my next visit.

Salmon steak was very small and very dry (about 18 €), the bread was hard. The only thing that was good is the beer and the tomato soup, that's why I give it 2 stars. Paid too much for what you got. I'm not coming again.

My partner ordered a rump steak (no comment) and got it WELL WELL DONE. My T-bone steak was very tough, in some places through and in others a bit over medium (although medium ordered rare). Vegetables were good, service not attentive. My empty plate was over half an hour in front of me, although the waitress often passed by. Probably the worst food I have ever eaten in a restaurant / bistro.

I like the cafe very, very much. I love the offer and the nice staff. Keep it up!

We were there as a small group on Tuesday and felt very comfortable, the food was good, the waitresses were friendly as always because it was not the first time we were there and will meet again and I personally couldn't speak of racism or migration backgrounds or one Determine Hitler's greeting. We'll be back ☺

I often meet friends in the city cafe. Are often there for breakfast, lunch or just for coffee. The waitress is very friendly and careful and often asks if we have any wishes, which is unfortunately no longer the case in other cafes. I'm very satisfied and would like to come back

An unbelievable cheek! I didn't want to be put off by the bad reviews and visited the café with my daughter ... Then I found a fingernail in my extremely dry “Salat Stadtcafe”. You couldn't call it parmesan either. All in all, including service, BOTTOM DRAWER! ??

No place to feel good. Very unsympathetic leadership. Strange clientele can do whatever they want there.

At first glance, a very decent store - but only had a short stay and a drink. Toilets are clean!

The taste of the food was very mixed. While the starter was very tasty, the main course was rather bad. The chicken was dry and not seasoned. The sauce was watery and tasted like nothing. The fries and ketchup / mayo were good. The conditions were friendly but had no overview despite the few visitors. Card payment was not possible.

I liked it, I didn’t taste the food, but I tasted cocktails. There is a suspicion that alcohol is diluted because there is no stiffness. I suggest you try ?

In the heart of the old town and directly at the Siegfriedsbrunnen, in a top location. Service is quick and very friendly. The selection of food and drinks is easily manageable and there is something for everyone. The prices are reasonable. All in all a top address to have a brunch or to linger.

I sat outside and enjoyed the sun. Unfortunately, I had to wait a long time to get a second coffee ... I then paid at the counter after the waitress was no longer seen.

Lovely place

My sister and I ordered noodles with salmon steak, and what came: noodle with smoked salmon, which you had to search with a magnifying glass. The cook then said that there was no salmon left, but paid full price. The service was very nice, but we will not go there.

We always eat here when we are in Worms (about every 9 months) and were satisfied again this time. The café was well attended, so we sat down in the non-smoking area. Unfortunately it took about 10 minutes until we noticed. (Outside it was also written that they are urgently looking for staff) The waitress was very friendly. The food came very quickly, was fresh and very tasty, there was nothing to complain about. The restaurant area was very clean. The prices are absolutely reasonable, we will come back the next time we visit Worms.
